Bal Harbour threw another fantastic Art Nights event at the Bal Harbour Shops. Headlining the Bal Harbour Chat Series was Tony Goldman, a legendary Miami developer and visionary, known for transforming declining historical districts into thriving, global destinations. He was the driving force behind the evolution of SoHo in New York City and South Beach and Wynwood in Miami.

The chat, entitled, “Miami: A Cultural Chronicle with Tony Goldman,” was held at Neiman Marcus on the second floor and lead by Nina Johnson-Milewski, owner of Gallery Diet.

In addition to the chat series, the St. Regis Lounge presented works by Alejandro Vigilante and Arno Elias in conjunction with Avant Gallery. Local favorite Books & Books celebrated artist Sheila Elias with a discussion on her book Somewhere-Anywhere. 100% Capri featured an interactive performance by Miami-based Michael Genovese, benefitting MAM (Miami Art Museum). Ellie Tahari featured a Renato Freitas photography exhibition, entitled “Brain Waves,” benefiting Care Resource. At Calypso, the company’s Vice President of Design, Elisa Miller, made a personal appearance and showcased an exhibit with sketches of her new designs, benefiting Autism Speaks. The Opera Gallery surprised visitors with the unique works of Mr. Brainwash, a renowned figure on the international street art scene and Virginia Fifield, who draws horses in charcoal at human scale. And Brunello Cuccinelli presented the launch of the new issue of Bal Harbour Magazine.
