Baptist Health Foundation has recruited Beth Rosenstein, General Manager of Bloomingdale’s at The Falls, as the chair of the 6th Annual Pineapple Sauté and Sip interactive dinner. Guests at the interactive dinner, which will take place Saturday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott Marquis, will cook alongside Chef Norman Van Aken, “considered South Florida’s most gifted chef” by The New York Times.

The theme this year is inspired by celebrity Chef Norman Van Aken’s new cookbook, “My Key West Kitchen.” John Richards and the culinary students of the Miami Culinary Institute will also be on hand to assist our guests in whipping up the night’s delicious courses. It will be a fun evening with over 500 of our community’s leaders joining together in support of a cause where we can help save lives and celebrate life!

Funds raised will benefit Baptist Health Breast Center’s CareCoach and Genetic Testing Programs, which provide compassionate support and individualized attention to breast cancer patients and their families during and after treatment. The center’s genetic testing program also educates patients as to whether they carry genes linked to an increased breast cancer risk.

“We are delighted to count on Beth Rosenstein’s creativity, support and total commitment to elevate the awareness and treatment options for breast cancer patients,” commented Patricia Rosello, CEO of Baptist Outpatient Services.

Sponsors of Pineapple Sauté and Sip include Bloomingdale’s Miami at the Falls, Celebrity Cruises, Radiology Associates of South Florida, Grey Goose, Express Travel, Florida Blue, CritiCare Clinics, Inc./South Miami Criticare, Miami Culinary Institute, Yelp, Urgent Care Physicians of South Florida, Cisco/Presidio, Greenberg Traurig, Ryder, Press Concepts, and Mia Cucina.
