More than 550 attendees celebrated Miami Children’s Museum’s “Be A Kid Again” Gala – the museum’s largest fundraiser of the year – which raised nearly $1 million to support various impactful educational programs and initiatives. This year’s theme, “Candyland,” blended fantasy and sweetness to create an enchanting experience, featuring a custom candy-filled table, a candy swing, and interactive entertainment from the Museum’s Theater Troupe. WSVN Deco Drive Entertainment Reporter Alex Miranda served as emcee, while eight-time Latin Grammy award winner, Colombian singer-songwriter Fonseca performed live before signing a guitar for the silent auction.
The Be A Kid Again Gala: Candyland was chaired by Norma Jean Abraham, noted philanthropist and party planner for charities, and Maya Vander, luxury real estate professional with The Oppenheim Group and alum of Netflix’s Selling Sunset. Miami Children’s Museum is honored to have their generous support and engagement in bringing this celebrated event to life.
