Big Brothers Big Sisters “littles” Graduation
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami hosted its annual graduation ceremony for “Littles” who have completed the program and are graduating from high school. Former NBA star Shane Battier (pictured) served as keynote speaker. 219 “Littles” (mentees), along with their “Bigs” (mentors) and parents and guardians, attended the event at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts where nearly $345,000 in scholarships was awarded. Key sponsors included the Adrienne Arsht Center, which partially sponsored the graduation ceremony, and the Irie Foundation, which sponsored the post-event reception.
