Birthright Israel Foundation’s Inaugural Event
Petra and Stephen Levin, welcomed guests to their home for an inaugural event to benefit the Birthright Israel Foundation. The inspirational program included introductions by Judith A. Levy, Birthright Israel Foundation National Board member and Florida Chair, a moving alumni story from Birthright Israel alumna and National Board member, Rachel Cohen Gerrol and a keynote address by Birthright Israel Co-Founder, Charles R. Bronfman. The event raised over $400,000 for Birthright Israel Foundation, the North American-based funding arm of Birthright Israel, which helps to raise funds towards Birthright Israel’s $135 million budget. Since 2000, Birthright Israel has given gifts of free 10-day educational trips to Israel to more than 500,000 Jewish young adults from 66 countries. Pictured: Allyn & Judith Levy, Charles R.
