Branches will celebrate its 15th Annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans Benefit Dinner and Auction on April 28, 2018, at the JW Marriott Marquis. Over 500 guests are expected to attend and help raise valuable resources for Branches’ programs which provide services and life-changing opportunities to low-income children, youth and families focused on long-term success.
The event will kick off with a cocktail reception and a silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing, as well as an appeal and an exciting live auction led by Master of Ceremonies Ron Magill of Zoo Miami and Auctioneer Scott Howard.
The event will also feature the presentation of the Trish and Dan Bell Community Empowerment Award, which will be presented to Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho. All proceeds from the appeal of the evening will support Branches’ 7-week-long Summer Shade Camp serving 400+ children plus a special youth mission trip. All appeal donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous Challenge Grant provided by Trish and Dan Bell.

Branches provides life-changing opportunities to help working families and their children break the cycle of generational poverty.
The Grow program provides after-school enrichment and tutoring for elementary students. The Climb program serves middle and high school students to enable them to succeed in school and life. The Achieve programs serve adults and provide small business development services, free tax prep and hunger relief.
