Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center will host Blue Jeans & Boots 2019 at Whispering Manes. Set for March 2, 2019, the second annual Blue Jeans & Boots is the celebration of Whispering Manes as a valuable community resource. This fun, country-western themed event will raise awareness about the organization and the work it does to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities in Miami-Dade County. Building on the tremendous success of last year’s event, more than 250 guests are expected to enjoy an exciting evening featuring a cocktail hour, line dancing, bull riding, lasso tossing, a scrumptious buffet and more.
Individual tickets for Blue Jeans & Boots are $100. Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are also available at a range of prices.
All proceeds will benefit Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center. For event arrangements, sponsorship benefits and recognition, contact Sharon Fallick at 305-596-4204 or by email at SFallick@WhisperingManes.org.
About Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center
Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center was established in 2011 as a federally recognized 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to providing therapeutic horseback riding and horsemanship to adults and children with disabilities. Our farm is centrally located in Miami-Dade County where we serve a community of families who would otherwise not have access to equine assisted activities. Through individually tailored programs with specialized horses, and under the direct supervision of PATH International-certified instructors, people with a wide range of disabilities can interact with horses in mounted or un-mounted activities. It is the mission of Whispering Manes to benefit children and adults with special needs or disabilities by offering them the opportunity to interact with dedicated horses in a manner that promotes physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. We believe people can develop therapeutic relationships with horses, crossing boundaries of speech and physical disabilities in a way that encourages healing and improved self-esteem.
