BLUE Missions proudly celebrated a night of purpose and impact during its 2025 BLUE Gala, held at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. Presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, the event raised an impressive $308,000, all of which will go directly to clean water and sanitation initiatives in underserved communities. The evening was hosted by Mike Ryan Ruiz, whose charisma and energy set the tone for an unforgettable celebration of community, compassion, and commitment.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Change Maker Award to Ron Magill, renowned wildlife expert and conservationist, for his unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship and youth empowerment. His passion and advocacy align perfectly with BLUE Missions’ vision of sustainability and youth-driven impact.

In a powerful moment of international recognition, the Dominican Consulate presented a plaque to BLUE Missions, acknowledging 15 years of meaningful work in rural communities across the Dominican Republic. Leslie Ramos, Chief Experience Officer of BLUE Missions, reflected on her journey during the gala: “that first service trip unlocked the potential I always had to make an impact,” said Ramos. “And I believe that your family’s income level—or access to clean water—should never stand between you and your purpose. That’s why we’ve created free educational programs, service trip scholarships, and infrastructure projects like water systems, so that thousands of youth locally and across the Dominican countryside can unlock their full potential.”

Danny Rodríguez, Founder & CEO, shared a moving story that continues to inspire his leadership: “In 2025, we celebrate 15 incredible years of Building Love & Uniting Everyone,” said Rodríguez. “And we couldn’t be more grateful to every volunteer, donor, partner, and team member who has made this journey possible. To date, we’ve impacted over 50,000 lives through access to clean water and sanitation. Entire communities in the Dominican Republic now enjoy better health, greater economic opportunity, and empowered local leadership. That’s the legacy we’re building — together. We are building more than water systems. We are building opportunity, health, and hope—for families, for communities, and for the future.”
