Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s “Wild About Kids” Gala
Benefiting Their Local Youth Programs
The theme “True Colors” was brought to life by Alore Event Firm and set the scene for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s 9th Annual “Wild About Kids” gala at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami on Saturday, Nov. 7, which raised over $420,000 for the organization’s many positive programs for area youth. 500 guests attended the soiree.
The event featured a cocktail reception, fashion showcase debuting Venezuelan designer Angel Sanchez’s 2016 spring collection, dinner, surprise performances by 2014 Latin GRAMMY® Best New Artist Mariana Vega and Nickelodeon actress/Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade alumna Elizabeth Elias, live entertainment by Juniors Entertainment, and the Norwegian Cruise Line®-sponsored “Glow Party” post-event bash. WSVN “Today in Florida” Co-Anchor Diana Diaz and local Journalist/TV Personality Ellie Rodriguez co-emceed the “colorful” event.
Event chairs were Juan Jose Delgado and Gabriela Rachadell de Delgado, co-chairs were Ralph and Elizabeth Patino and the special event chair was Olga Guilarte. During the evening, Rodrigo Arboleda was recognized with Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s “From the Heart” award, Melissa Medina with the “Community Builder” award, and Eris Thomas with the “Charles ‘Bebe’ Rebozo Humanitarian” award.
