A Smashing Success
Children’s Resources 36th Musical Gala, struck all the right chords and hit all the high notes! Nearly 300 guests, escorted by dancers from Montclair State University, filled the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel. The performers generously donated their time and talent for a fabulous review of Broadway shows.
Children’s Resources’ Co-Presidents Josephine Baker, Betty M. Brandt and Ellie Gordon Trotter were thanked for their extraordinary efforts in making the gala a great success. Peggy Armaly recognized Honorary Chairman Lynn Girsh and praised her for her remarkable contributions to improve the lives of the children that attend the Lynn & Mike Girsh Elementary School. Also honored were Corporate Grand Sponsor Florida Blue for their many years of support and guidance. The Carmax Foundation represented by Lazaro Rodriguez, was recognized for their funding of CRF’s brand new state-of-the art playground through their partnership with KaBoom! Playgrounds. Southern Wine & Spirits, Yellow Cab, the Four Seasons Hotel and many others were thanked for their contributions.
