Classic Plane On Display At Wings Over Miami
“Night Rider,” a classic World War II plane has been added to the military aircraft on display at Wings Over Miami Air Museum located on the Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport. Originally delivered in 1943 to the U.S. Navy, the plane was purchased in 2000 by Walter Orth, who assembled a team to completely restore the aircraft. Now complete, the plane has been signed off on by the FAA. clearing it to be back up in the air and flying for the community’s benefit.
