Aventura Mall Brings Italian Luxury to South Florida


200 people joined Jeanette Horta, President of Coco Imports USA and owner of the new and very exciting Coccinelle and Braccialini Boutique in the Aventura Mall to celebrate the opening of the latest boutique to open in the mall. The evening payed tribute to the Young Presidents Club and the Young Founders of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Attending the evening’s festivities was John Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mosaicon Fashion Group USA. Both collaborated to debut these Italian luxury handbags and accessory collections to South Florida These brands are well known and sold in leading department stores in many of Europe’s main capitals around the world and now are available at this beautiful and exciting new boutique on the upper level of the Aventura Mall.

Tony Japour Gives Us “Access to China”

A young not-for-profit organization, known as the International Chinese Fine Arts Council, established in Chicago, founded an outpost in Miami last year with Director, Inez Suen at its helm. A native of Chicago by way of Taipei, Taiwan, Suen moved to Miami in 2010 from New York City because of Miami’s connection to Art Basel-Miami Beach and the dearth of Asian art in Miami. ICFAC exhibited both crafts and fine art from Taiwan in Miami during Art Basel 2010, and has a new exhibition in partnership with Art Lexing through the end of May entitled, “Access to China”.

Miami Beach was star-studded once again as the Miami World Cinema Center (MWCC) hosted a conversation with Brett Ratner, famed film director and Beach High grad.

The evening began with a “Conversation with Brett” at the Miami Beach Cinematheque followed by an intimate dinner at The Forge. The conversation was moderated by Patrick de Bokay, CEO of MWCC.

A standing room only crowd filled the Cinematheque’s stylish new location in the Miami Beach City Hall to hear Ratner tell wonderful stories about his rise from obscurity to stardom.
