Color the world for The Victory Center for Autism and Related Disabilities! Join us for a great night of colorful excitement, while supporting a good cause at the same time. The 16th Annual Gala will benefit The Victory Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides evidence-based education and services to children and families with autism and related disabilities in a secure and stimulating learning environment in South Florida.
Honorees for our 16th annual gala will be Barry and Judi Nelson, the founders of The Victory Center. Through the encouragement of friends and their own desperation to provide their son the best evidence-based educational services available, the Nelsons founded the Victory Center in June of 2000.
The Victory Center began with 4 students and 2 classrooms. Today the Victory Center provides services to 28 students in day time programs with 6 classrooms and is breaking ground on an 8,500 square foot facility. Through the vision and ambition of Barry and Judi Nelson to help other families within the South Florida Community, over hundreds of families have been provided hope, education and opportunity for their loved ones affected by autism and related disabilities.
Live Entertainment will be provided by world renowned artist, Michael Israel. With his electrifying performance and amazing talent Michael creates art from the heart for a great cause. Audiences all over the world have been wowed by his creations as he brings canvas to life right before their eyes. Whether he is performing for Special Olympics, the American Red Cross, Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, City of Hope, or countless other charitable organizations, one thing is certain, Michael Israel knows how to reach his audience, and he touches boldly, deeply, and succinctly. His generosity and compassion are evident and make for a rewarding experience for all.
