Coral Gables Community Foundation’s “Tour of Kitchens”

The theme for the successful tour was "Outdoor Living."

The Coral Gables Community Foundation held its most successful Tour of Kitchens to date on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns, Outdoor Living was the theme this year, focusing the City’s best in al fresco living, luxury pools, gorgeous outdoor furniture, architectural shade and BBQs. Guests were dazzled while offering indulgences from local restaurants and vendors along the way and ending the day with a bash at Bay 13 Brewery.

New this year, was an Opening Breakfast at the Shops at Merrick Park where guests enjoyed breakfast, mimosas and coffee while checking in for the Tour. Over 600 Tourists drove or biked (led by Bike Coral Gables) around the City Beautiful visiting eleven homes ranging from the landmark home of Weston Lyons and Dr. Raul Vasquez-Castellanos, Villa Palmarito, which was built in the heart of the Italian Village in 1927 to the delightfully Deco home of John and Patricia Wish on North Greenway Drive featuring a stunning mosaic pool.
