Craig Robins Kickstarts Miami Art Week
Craig Robins kickstarted Miami Art Week with a preview of Miami Design District’s art, design and fashion exhibitions. Special guest speakers included curator Jeffrey Deitch and architect and Dean of Harvard Graduate School of Design Mohsen Mostafavi. Guests began at Dacra offices where they surveyed the Craig Robins Collection, a private contemporary art and design collection, before departing on a walking tour of the district through Paseo Ponti and Palm Court. Points of interest on the tour included the recently opened Hermes and Fendi flagships, Snarkitecture’s holiday installation, Lenny Kravitz’s Flash exhibition, the active installation of Valentino’s Mirabilia Romae, an installation by artist Pietro Ruffo, Xavier Veilhan’s Le Corbusier bust and the Buckminster Fuller-designed Fly’s Eye Dome.
