A historical journey from the invention of the string quartet by Haydn to a new piece by New World School of the Arts composition student Indira Labanino Leon. Along the way hear Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Dvořák, Beach, Ravel, Villa-Lobos, Elgar, Shostakovich,Webern, Orbón, Gershwin and Glass.
