for a “Sparkling Affair” to benefit homeless animals at the 2017 Pawpurrazzi. On January 20, 2017, more than 500 of Miami’s most influential philanthropists and their doggies will come together at Jungle Island for a truly unforgettable night.

This year’s event celebrates the memory of Patricia Wallace, an extraordinary woman and humanitarian who strived to make our community a better place for cats and dogs and whose passion and dedication helped make Pawpurrazzi bigger and better every year. Honorary Chairperson, Penny Stamps along with 2017 Chairmen, Milton J. Wallace and Bunny Bastian, will bring the pet-loving community together to help raise much needed funds to support more than 400 homeless and abandoned animals cared for by the Humane Society.

The 2017 Pawpurrazzi promises to be a

Upon entering the “sparkling” Treetop Ballroom, a savory, five-star dinner and a must-watch “Great Pets Who Walk in Front of Great People” runway show are just a couple of the fabulous highlights that await you. Pawpurrazzi is a truly dazzling and one-of-a-kind event you will not want to miss!

Ticket Prices are $550, $750, $1000 and $2,000 per person. Dogs are special guests!

The Humane Society of Greater Miami is dedicated to finding a loving home for all the cats and dogs in its care and to promoting responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter programs. It prides itself on its adoption guarantee philosophy which means that every animal in its care is safe from the threat of euthanasia for as long as it takes to find a loving home.

About Humane Society of Greater Miami

The Humane Society of Greater Miami

Penny Stamps, Honorary Chairperson

has been helping homeless animals in Miami-Dade County since 1936. Today, more than 400 homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens each day are cared for at the Soffer and Fine Adoption Center in North Miami Beach and through our foster care program. We are able to give these animals a second chance by providing tender loving care, a good meal, shelter and medical care for as long as it takes to find them homes with kind, responsible and committed caregivers.

The organization works diligently at creating a more kind, just and loving community for the pets and people of Miami-Dade County. We offer programs and services to educate, inform and inspire people to take responsible care of their pets and treat animals with the kindness they deserve. With the support of people from across Miami-Dade County, we are helping to create a better community for all.

Each animal that is cared for at our shelter is free from the threat of euthanasia while they wait for their forever family. In 2015, close to 3,250 animals found their human companions and began their new lives in the comfort of homes around our community and South Florida. All pets are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped before becoming available for adoption. In addition, we go to great lengths to make sure the pet is healthy and disease-free. We provide counseling and guidance to make sure the right match is made and the right pet is adopted into the right home.

We run two veterinary clinics, one in North Miami Beach and another in Cutler Bay where we strive to end our community’s pet overpopulation problem by performing more than 16,000 sterilization surgeries and 50,000 vaccinations each year. We have programs that help the financially challenged people of our community by providing free services for vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries.

The Humane Society of Greater Miami is a not-for-profit charitable animal welfare organization supported solely by donations, private grants and fundraising events. We rely on our local community for financial support. For more information, please call 305-749-1815 or visit www.HumaneSocietyMiami.org.
