Don’t miss the opening of Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Annual Countywide Student Art Show (on view through April 26), along with Constructed Lexicons in the Swenson Gallery and the BFA Thesis Project with Andrew Nigon in the FIU Project Room/Stuido 11U, along with open studios, live music, beverages, and food for purchase. The Annual Countywide was developed by the Art Education Program to offer students and teachers the opportunity to showcase student artwork in professional galleries. Bakehouse, a nonprofit organization that provides a space and a community for emerging artists and artwork events, is hosting the annual show for the fifth consecutive year.
