The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis will host its annual Great Sports Legends Dinner to raise funds for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the Waldorf Astoria. The event honors sports legends and philanthropists each year at a star-studded dinner with a special live performance and a spectacular silent auction. The 31st Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner will honor Mariano Rivera, Venus Williams, Curtis Martin, Tara Lipinski, Dario Franchitti, Willis Reed, Cheryl Miller, and Diana Nyad. Anchor of NBC Nightly News Lester Holt will emcee; special awards to Christian Slater, Wayne Newton, James L. Nederlander, Buzz Aldrin and Mark Dalton; cast of the smash hit “On Your Feet!” will perform live at star-studded event. Tickets are $850 and $1,500, which includes preferred seating.
