Informed Families has partnered with Joe’s Stone Crab to help kids grow up safe, healthy and drug free for more than three decades. This year’s theme is bringing generations together. Our Joe’s partnership has included many of you, your families, and colleagues since our first dinner in 1985, only three years after Informed Families was founded. The event supports IF’s Universal Prevention programs, which reach more than 3.2 million children and their families throughout Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida.

Informed Families is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 with the mission of helping kids grow up safe, healthy and drug free. The statewide organization educates, involves, and empowers parents to work together to set boundaries and monitor their children’s behavior to prevent underage drinking, substance abuse and other harmful behaviors.

Affiliated with the National Family Partnership, Informed Families is best known for being the Florida Sponsor of the National Red Ribbon Campaign.
