Holiday Light for the Animals is a festive time at the Humane Society of Greater Miami’s Soffer & Fine’s Adoption Center. You’ll be rockin’ around the Christmas tree and the Menorah. There will be entertainment, vendors, tours of the shelter, refreshments, caroling by The Cushman School choir and other schools’ performances, and of course to usher in the holiday season, the arrival of Santa “Paws” on the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck from the 22nd station. The 4th annual fund-raiser benefits the Humane Society of Greater Miami and the highlight of the evening is the lighting of the Shelter, a sight to behold. Admission is free. At the Humane Society of Greater Miami adoptable animals are never euthanized due to time, space, or treatable medical issues. This commitment to the animals and the animals is possible because of support from generous people like you. The shelter will sparkle with lights in honor and in memory of beloved people and animals.
