Take a last look at Patrick Dougherty’s stickwork sculpture, “In the Thick of It,” a treasured work of art that has graced the garden since November. The sculpture will be demolished, and pictures of people interacting with the piece will be on view at Cypress Hall, along with a video celebrating the joy that this sculpture has brought to so many. Admission is free for the morning event as you bid farewell to this extraordinary work of art.
