Thomas Dubois Hormel has had a prolific life creating art, sculpture and photographic works. In addition, he composed his first song, “Blue September,” when he was just fourteen, nearly 75 years ago. It is only in recent years that his considerable talents have become more known to the world.This joyous celebration of Mr. Hormel’s wide range of styles inspired by jazz and classical music will showcase the talents of the Henry Mancini Institute’s Big Band and Orchestra, as well as Shelly Berg, Dean of Frost School of Music.
