AileyCamp Miami’s annual final performance is a heartfelt presentation will feature ballet, jazz, modern and West African dance as well as spoken word—all performed by the AileyCamp Miami campers. AileyCamp Miami is a free, six-week, full-scholarship summer day camp program for students ages 11 – 14 currently enrolled in a middle school in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Using dance as a vehicle for developing self-esteem, creative expression and imagination, AileyCamp Miami at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is offered in partnership with the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation. Admission is free. Stand-by line forms at 6 p.m. on the day of the performance. Patrons will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis as seats become available.
