Join the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and its Board of Trustees for An Evening of Discovery, our signature annual fundraising gala celebrating the power of science, innovation, and imagination. This year’s event on Thursday, November 5, is inspired by our blockbuster special exhibition, The Science Behind Pixar, an interactive experience that reveals the real-world science, technology, engineering, and mathematics behind Pixar’s beloved films. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by an elegant seated dinner, special presentations, and exclusive remarks from Steve May, Chief Technology Officer at Pixar Animation Studios. As one of the pioneers behind Pixar’s groundbreaking animation technology, May will share insights into the remarkable intersection of creativity, storytelling, and scientific innovation.

Proceeds from An Evening of Discovery directly support Frost Science’s educational programs, community outreach initiatives, exhibitions, conservation efforts, and experiences that inspire more than half a million visitors each year. Together, we are empowering future generations of scientists, innovators, and problem-solvers.
