MDC Wolfson Campus Art & Philosophy Department and MDC’s Museum Studies Program will present An Evening with Micky Wolfson, as part of its Focus on Humanities Lectures Series. Mitchell “Micky” Wolfson, Jr., is a preservationist, collector and founder of two museums: The Wolfsonian-FIU and the Wolfsoniana in Genoa, Italy. Micky will be in conversation with Tim Rodgers, The Wolfsonian’s new director, formerly of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art in Scottsdale, Arizona. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30. The talk is free and open to the public. Free parking is available at Building 7 (parking garage) at 500 N.E. Second Avenue.
