Linda Peterson, a native of South Florida born in Key Largo, enjoys painting with oil on canvas as a way to combine her visions, dreams, and the human experience. Furthermore, oil is the medium she prefers as she finds the smooth texture and workability to be exciting as well as meditative, an interesting juxtaposition. An artistic adventurer like her mom, she has recently expanded her experiences to include ceramics and photography. Gallery opening on Thursday, May 5, 6 to 8 p.m. Exhibit runs through June 18.
