The Florida Grand Opera (FGO) and NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale will present the fourth installment of Art Inspired Song. FGO’s Young Artists will perform music complementing the exhibition Bellissima; Italy and High Fashion 1945-1968. The program will highlight examples from the rich body of Italian opera and art songs, including selections by Bellini, Puccini, Mozart and others. Justin Moss of the Florida Grand Opera will introduce the program and provide commentary connecting the repertoire to the exhibition. The concert is free with museum admission. Museum admission is $12 for non-members; $8 for seniors and students with ID; free for children under 12. Fees are waived for museum members as well as FGO donors and subscribers. Prior to the concert, concertgoers can enjoy a traditional tea in the museum at 2:30 p.m. Cost of the tea is $28 for museum members, FGO donors and subscribers; $34 for non-members.
