The Art + Research Center (A+RC) returns in March with seminars and public lectures from renowned artist theorists Luciana Parisi, Chair of the PhD program at the Cultural Studies Center at Goldsmiths in London; artist and filmmaker Lucy Raven; Sven Lutticken, Professor at the Vrije University in Amsterdam and the Dutch Art Institute; and Orit Halpern, Professor at Concordia University in Montreal. Applications open February 15. A+RC engages audiences in critical dialogue, reinvigorating the public sphere in Miami and addressing relevant issues including climate change and social justice. Spring Semester runs from March 20 – April 20, 2017.
