The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts will host ArtsLaunch 2016. Presented by American Airlines, the free all-day community event to kick off South Florida’s arts season and celebrate the Center’s box office opening September 10. In partnership with the local arts community and DWNTN Art Days, ArtsLaunch 2016 events and family-friendly activities include: interactive workshops, the Center’s first silent disco party hosted by the Green Room Society, kids’ activities, author and community conversations, a farmers market, chef demonstrations, walking tours, a Comic-Con and cosplay contest, and much more. Starting at 10 a.m. that day, the Center’s box office also officially opens, offering the first opportunity for the public to purchase tickets for more than 50 shows for the Arsht Center’s 11th season. Admission is free.
