As part of the Art + Research Center’s Spring 2017 Semester, “New Social Abstractions,” arts theorist and professor Luciana Parisi will deliver a new public lecture, “Instrumentality or the origin of techno-logic,” at ICA Miami. This seminar series offers a critical reflection about the philosophical, aesthetic and political consequences of the increasing dominance of automated systems in contemporary culture.
