Ayikodans, Haiti’s premier dance company,will return to the Arsht Center’s Carnival Studio Theater stage, led by founder and artistic director Jeanguy Saintus. In celebration of the Arsht Center’s 10th Anniversary, the Arsht Center has commissioned Ayikodans to develop a new piece that will have its world premiere during this engagement. This is guaranteed to include energetic dances, rapid drum rhythms and the emotional tale of struggle and triumph! “The dancers’ intensity and force are SPECTACULAR!” – The Miami Herald.
