Alhambra Orchestra opens its 27th concert season with Beethoven 5 Plus featuring the ever-popular Fifth Symphony of Beethoven, the piece most often requested by audiences. With new Artistic Director Dr. Daniel Andai on the podium, the orchestra will also perform Tchaikovsky’s flashy showpiece Capriccio Italien, plus two works showcasing the Amernet Quartet’s cellist Jason Calloway (pictured). The concert is free and open to the public – no tickets or reservations required. Stay after the concert for a dessert reception where you will meet the musicians. Ample free parking.
