Come get your game on as HistoryMiami Museum opens its newest exhibition, Beyond the Game: Sports and the Evolution of South Florida. The entire community is invited to this opening day party. From a piece of the Miami Heat floor, to a University of Miami Orange Bowl trophy, to Bob Griese’s helmet, come and explore the evolution of sports in South Florida. Play at the museum with stories, crafts and games. Enjoy playing hockey with the Panthers, ball with the Marlins, taking selfies with UM’s Sebastian all taking place at the Miami-Dade Cultural Plaza at HistoryMiami. Music by DJ Le Spam of the Spam Allstars, and gallery tours will be available to see this exciting new exhibition.The opening day event is free. RSVP recommended.
