In conjunction with the Jewish Museum’s exhibition Discovery and Recovery: Preserving Iraqi Jewish Heritage, on view through March 6, JMOF-FIU will present an afternoon the entire family can enjoy with an art activity, sweet treats, and heritage tales. Participate in a hands-on activity to learn about a conservation technique for paper and “repair a tear,” similar to methods used in this extraordinary National Archives restoration project. Free for museum members or with admission to the museum.
