The Kinsey Sicks star in Chicks with Shticks on as part of the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center’s Cabaret Series’ Cabaret Series. Be amazed (or appalled) by The Kinsey Sicks’ latest and greatest dragtastic a cappella musical. This collection of new songs is an equal mix of appalling original songs and unforgivable parodies of such favorites as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, A Whole New World, What Does the Fox Say, a Carol King number, Grammy-award winning hits, and the Disney sensation Let it Go. Spawned in San Francisco over 20 years ago, America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet has served up a feast of music and comedy in over 40 states, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and Australia at performing arts centers, music venues, and comedy festivals in every kind of town you can imagine. In 2001, they starred in their own Off-Broadway show at New York’s legendary Studio 54. That production received a nomination for a Lucille Lortel Award (the off-Broadway Tony) for Best Musical and a Drama Desk nomination for Best Lyrics. Tickets are $40.
