Miami Dade College’s MDC Live Arts performing arts series will present the wildly inventive Chilean theater company, Teatro Cinema with Historia de Amor (Love Story), the final work in a trilogy on the subject of love, based on a graphic novel by Regis Jauffret. The performance virtually escapes the confines of theater, using film technique, special effects, mirrors, digital imaging and highly stylized sets to create the illusion of travelling through time and space. Historia de Amor tells a story that addresses the thin line between reason and madness, love and domination. In Spanish with English supertitles and not suitable for younger audiences. Tickets are $25 and for MDC students $10.
