‘Tis the season to give back! For more than 38 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade has been selling Christmas trees and wreaths to help bring holiday cheer into South Florida homes.  The grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off the holiday season with Miami dignitaries, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade board members and representatives and Santa Claus making a special appearance.  The trees, gorgeous Fraser firs from North Carolina, stand 5-feet to 14-feet tall with a starting price of $55. Plain and hand-decorated wreaths are also available starting at $35.  Trees and wreaths will be offered for sale from November 25 until the last tree is sold.  Proceeds from sales will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s many positive programs, including after school programs, homework assistance, computer training, social skills, dance, arts and crafts, professional mentoring, and summer and athletic programs, for area children who need them the most.  The lot is open from 9 to 9, seven days a week.
