The exhibition features rare movie posters. Gregory Peck as King David – Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments – Paul Newman as Ari Ben Canaan in Exodus and more portray 4,000 years of Jewish identity in Hollywood films in the three decades after World War II. These box office hits transformed the image of the Jew from embattled to triumphant. See over one hundred flamboyant posters and bold advertising materials for films ranging from Samson and Delilah and Ben-Hur, to Judgment at Nuremberg and Fiddler on the Roof in Cinema Judaica: The Epic Cycle (1947-1971) on view at the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU through October 23. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
