In remembrance of the one year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts will host Communi-Tea Dance, a free community event honoring those affected by the tragedy. Spend the afternoon at the Arsht Center’s Thomson Plaza for the Arts to spread love, dance and give back to those in need. The afternoon will feature a joyous tea dance hosted by legendary drag queen, Tiffany T Fantasia, with music by DJ Hottpants and Deejay Smeejay, plus live performances from drag superstars Queef Latina, Ann Atomic, Jupiter Velvet, Kat Wilderness and LGBTQ local acts such as The State Of and more. Happy Hour-priced drinks and light bites will be available during the event courtesy of BRAVA by Brad Kilgore and The Café at Books & Books – $4 draft beers, $5 bottles, $6 wines and sangrias, $6 Tea Dance signature cocktail, $5 sandwiches and a variety of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages also available.
