MOCA will host Creative Arts 4 Kids the first Saturday of every month. It’s an afternoon of fun for kids ages 6 to 12 to tour MOCA exhibitions and learn about the element of art through painting, drawing and sculpting activities in the style of renowned artists. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay and create with their children. This month’s class will explore the work of Carlos Salas: Organic Paintings and Drawings. Cost is $12 per class or $40 for a four-class series for MOCA members, NoMi residents and city employees, and $18 per class or 60 for the series for non-,embers. A $2 discount allowed for each additional child in the household.
