Conjunto Impacto was formed in 1975 in Miami, playing traditional Cuban Salsa. The 15-member big band, which gained international fame as the classic sound of 1970’s salsa, reunited three years ago. Their story was featured in a documentary film Sweet and Sour Salsa, that won numerous film festival awards last summer including the Saint Tropez Film Festival and London International Film Festival.
