The DCC has become one of the nation’s most celebrated experiences inspiring thousands of cyclists, runners, and walkers to come together as one team focused on one unified fight. But we realize now more than ever, it’s time for us to grow our mission beyond just that moment. It’s time for us to evolve into a year-round movement focused on the challenge the cancer community faces every single day. We’re raising the bar, our collective goals and the impact we will have in pursuit for your cure.

The event will be chaired by Tom Garfinkel, Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Miami Dolphins, and Jackie Travisano, EVP & COO University of Miami & Chair of the Dolphins Challenge Cancer Board of Directors.

About Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center & Dolphins Challenge Cancer

Sylvester’s mission is to reduce the human burden from cancer through research, education, prevention, and the delivery of quality patient care.

The DCC was founded in 2010 by the Miami Dolphins Organization as the signature initiative of the Foundation’s health impact area and has become the largest fundraising event in the NFL. The DCC’s purpose is to improve people’s lives through financial support for innovative cancer research at Sylvester, South Florida’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center. Sylvester is now among the top cancer centers in the United States and joins a highly select group as one of only two NCI-designated cancer centers in the state of Florida and one of just 71 across the nation. Since its inception, the DCC has raised more than $39.2 million, donating 100 percent of participant-raised funds to Sylvester. For more information, visit www.DolphinsChallengeCancer.com.
