Ballet for Young People, Miami City Ballet’s signature Community Outreach program, is a child-friendly performance that’s fun for all ages! An interactive, behind-the-scenes look at the art of ballet where you can learn how and when ballet began, what it takes to become a professional ballet dancer and how a ballet is created. Audience members each leave with an educational program guide, including activities related to the history of ballet, the ballets performed and the exciting world of dance, to which many are introduced to for the first time. Admission to all Family Fest events are FREE. However, First-Access Passes* are required.
