Families are invited to the Museum to participate in special activities in conjunction with the exhibition The Seventh Day: Revisiting Shabbat and in preparation for the internationally observed weekend, “The Shabbos Project.” The Shabbos Project takes place on October 23-24, 2015, with communities all over the world offering various opportunities to access and experience Shabbat. During this special program at JMOF-FIU, participants of all ages can create their own Shabbat candles, candlesticks, challah covers and more from recycled and repurposed materials. Museum tours will also be hosted by our specially trained Teen Docents. Free with Museum admission.
