Frost Chopin Festival and Academy
Concerts & Performances
The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and the Chopin Foundation of the U.S. will debut the Frost Chopin Festival and Academy with six concerts from June 24 to 30. Some of America’s top budding pianists, as well as applicants from all over the world, applied to participate. From this array of talent, Frost invited the top 20 applicants to be a part of the inaugural program, which will include lessons with acclaimed guest artists (all of which are open to the public), take part in workshops and learn about the culture surrounding Chopin and his music by distinguished musicologists. The daily activities will culminate in the Festival’s evening performances, two of which will be free on June 30. A Festival Pass for all 4 concerts is $120 for adults and $80 for seniors. Individual tickets are $35 and $25. .
