The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science will celebrate the second anniversary of its opening in Downtown Miami with the 3rd Annual Celebration of Science. The gala fundraiser supports the museum’s exhibitions and learning programs, while also commemorating its continued commitment to scientific excellence. The museum will honor Dr. Eugene J. Sayfie with the 2019 Visionary Award, which recognizes and celebrates a commitment to the community through visionary leadership that enhances scientific, technological and/or educational excellence. This year’s gala theme, The Science of the Senses, will take guests on a sensory journey through the museum’s Aquarium and unique exhibitions with a roving dining and entertainment experience designed to stimulate their sense of wonder. The gala after party and late-night portion of the event “The Big Bang”will celebrate the Sixth Sense and the possibilities hidden behind the concept of extrasensory perception.
