Women’s Philanthropy of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation (GMJF) is proud to host “The Women’s Event,” a brunch buffet that brings together hundreds of Jewish women of all backgrounds to celebrate friendship, community and philanthropy. Through their commitment of time and support to the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign, these exceptional women are helping to care for those in need, fund vital programs and strengthen Jewish life in Miami, in Israel and in more than 70 other countries around the world.

This year’s event features guest speaker Lisa Edelstein, who has had a long and distinguished acting career known for her work in the Bravo series “Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce”, the TV show “House”, and ABC’s “The Good Doctor”, to name a few. She will speak about Jewish stereotypes in Hollywood and the media.

The event is being chaired by Elise Udelson. Ilene Kossman is President of Women’s Philanthropy and Tammy Woldenberg is Campaign Chair. Jeffrey Scheck is Federation Board Chair and Isaac K. “Ike” Fisher is General Campaign Chair.

About Greater Miami Jewish Federation

The Mission of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is to mobilize human and financial resources to care for those in need, strengthen Jewish life and advance the unity, values and shared purpose of the Jewish people in Miami, in Israel and around the world.

Established in 1938, Federation is a nonprofit organization working to ensure that members of the community act collectively and responsibly to enrich the quality of Jewish life in the Greater Miami area and to meet the needs and safeguard the freedoms of all Jewish people.

The Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign is the primary instrument through which donors fund a large and highly effective network of social-service, humanitarian and educational programs and agencies in Miami, in Israel and in more than 70 other countries worldwide. In addition to providing opportunities for donors wishing to ensure that their support of the Jewish community continues in perpetuity, The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation can help to create gift plans that meet each donor’s specific philanthropic goals.

Federation’s numerous departments and divisions welcome individuals and families to get involved with the Jewish community through social and networking events, volunteer activities and much more.
