Dance is both medium and message in this three-act, 70-minute exploration of 21st-century life. A shape-shifting love story, James McGinn’s Ing an Die weaves choreographic languages with symbolic imagery to disrupt binary structures found within art and society at large: traditional vs. contemporary, masculine vs. feminine, organic human vs. synthetic robot.
