This special collaboration between the South Florida Symphony and The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade is a one-of-a-kind experience that features Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” performed by world-renowned violinist Lara St. John, along with members of the South Florida Symphony; a seasonally inspired welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres and specialty crafted cocktails; a chef-curated Four Seasons menu;  “Launch of the Season” fashion show presented by Saks Fifth Avenue; and an occasion to honor inspiration women: Tracy Wilson Mourning, President & Creative Director of Honey Child & Tracy Wilson Mourning L.O.V.E.; Rabbi Amy Morrison, Temple Israel’s cutting edge Senior rabbi; Maryam Miranda- Seaspice’s entrepreneur; Dr. Ruth W. Greenfield- civil rights pioneer & cultural icon; and Maya Angelou whose grandson Elliott Jones will present a reading in memory of his illustrious grandmother.  Event proceeds support South Florida Symphony’s in-school music education program and The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade’s work to overcome all forms of violence against women and girls.
